‘Bella’ dress from Baby Ceylon - £120

A curious thing has happened with Next women’s shoe sizes.  I have been a customer of Next for a few years now and have found from experience the size 9 boots always fit but the shoes especially the ballet pumps tend to be on the small side.  The softer leathers will fit but the less forgiving materials like patent are too small.  However, I ordered some of the ‘Fabulous Flats’ jewelled pumps (gorgeous!) in a 9 and they were too big, definately big enough to be a size 10, so I ordered size 8’s instead - which are like the old size 9’s.  This was also true of their ‘Sole Reviver’ range, my feet were swimming the size 9’s.  Confused yet?  Best policy is to try them for yourself.

I’m not sure if this is an error on Next’s part, more the case there is no consistency with sizing throughout the different ranges.  It would be great to have size 10’s (and elevens) at Next especially to compliment their Tall Range and also that they make their size 9’s (or 8’s ) slightly bigger please.

I just received my Mae Maxi dress - £149.00 from Baby Ceylon and nearly cried as its so beautiful!  It also came right down to my ankles (I am just over 6ft tall).  This dress is so glamorous, it makes you feel like a 20’s starlet.
