Yoga pants - cotton and 5% elastine - £25

Tie front shrug - £18 - all at sportswear section of  Tallgirls.co.uk

The best advert for yoga is when you see people in their 80’s and 90’s who have been practising for many years and look as supple and flexible as a child of five.  They look so youthful and happy.  I started doing simple yoga exercises after having problems with my lower back, very gentle stretching really helps to stop you from siezing up especially when you are in pain.  To find out more about the many health benefits and find a teacher in your area visit the ‘About Yoga’ page at British Wheel of Yoga at http://www.bwy.org.uk/aboutyoga.php

I heart being on the move..

I heart red coats

Red coat by Marks and Spencer - Tall  & Long- £79

I love red coats because they make you stand out from the crowd, especially in a sea of black and grey.  On dull overcast days, injecting some colour into your outfit can really lift your spirits.  Colour is such a powerful thing, especially when you learn which colours looks good on you.  There are so many different types of red, a ‘blue red’ looks fabulous with dark brown eyes.  Whereas a ‘tomato red’ suits my blue/green eyes.  I think its a question of not getting too bogged down with the science of it all.  I always look at a colour near my face - if it lights up your face and makes your eyes more vibrant you know its a good colour for you.

I heart Get Cutie

The ‘Get Cutie Company’ are based in Brighton and are ‘a world of beautiful dresses’ in some classic styles and unusual bold prints.  They are a small company and if they don’t have your size  (or cup size) in stock in the fabric you want, will make it up for you.  You may have to wait between 2 - 4 weeks if they are busy.  They recommend you go up a dress size with them.  Visit their website at www.getcutie.co.uk
